Terms of Service
1. General Provisions
These Terms govern the use of services provided by Volt-Lux Damian Benke, VAT ID: PL4990547164, based in Koszalin, Poland (hereinafter: "Contractor"). Services are performed by the Contractor and his employees and associates. Submitting an enquiry or order constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
The Contractor provides electrical services including: design and installation of electrical systems, measurements and inspections, smart home systems, alarm and CCTV installation, EV charging stations, smoke exhaust and fire alarm systems. The detailed scope of each assignment is agreed individually.
3. Quotation and Order
Quotations are prepared based on an inspection or description provided by the Client and are indicative. The final price is agreed after an on-site inspection and confirmed in writing. The Contractor reserves the right to decline an assignment without stating a reason.
4. Execution and Deadlines
The completion deadline is agreed individually and confirmed in writing or by e-mail. The Contractor makes every effort to meet agreed deadlines. In the event of circumstances beyond the Contractor's control (e.g. material delivery delays), the deadline may be adjusted with prior notice to the Client.
5. Payments
Payment is due on the basis of a VAT invoice, by cash or bank transfer, within the period stated on the invoice (default: 14 days). For larger assignments the Contractor may require an advance payment of up to 30% of the contract value.
6. Warranty
A 24-month warranty from the acceptance date is provided on completed work, covering workmanship defects. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, modifications by third parties or force majeure. Equipment and materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
7. Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing to biuro@volt-lux.pl within 14 days of discovering a defect. The Contractor resolves complaints within 14 business days of receipt and notifies the Client of the outcome.
8. Liability
The Contractor is liable for damages caused to the Client through intent or gross negligence — including by its employees. Total liability is limited to the value of the completed assignment. The Contractor is not liable for power outages, surges or other events outside its control.
9. Data Protection
Client personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law (GDPR). Details are set out in the Privacy Policy available at /privacy-policy.
10. Final Provisions
Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the Polish Civil Code. All disputes shall be resolved by the court having jurisdiction over the Contractor's registered office. These Terms are effective from March 2026.
